The One Question That Changes Everything

Why Asking for Help is Strategy, Not Weakness

You've been grinding on the same problem for three hours. Someone two desks over could solve it in five minutes. You know this. But you won't ask.

Or maybe it's not work. Maybe it's the project in your garage that's turned into a six-weekend saga because you won't ask your neighbour who's actually done this before. Maybe it's the financial decision keeping you up at night when one conversation with someone who knows could bring clarity. Maybe it's the workout routine that's not working, but you won't talk to the friend who's already been through his own transformation.

This has nothing to do with laziness. Pride is in there somewhere, but the real issue runs deeper. Somewhere along the way, you convinced yourself that real capability means figuring everything out alone. That asking for help somehow proves you're not as competent as you should be.
