A Southern Cali gal through and through, the voluptuous Raquel Rischard has a portfolio in front of the camera that is easily rivalled by her renowned career behind it, an impressive feat to say the least. An LA native, she was drawn to performing, fashion and entertainment from childhood, yet she freely admits she fell into modelling almost by accident, simply because all of her friends were already in the game.

The high-profile world of modelling took notice fast. Her stock skyrocketed, landing her in the pages of Playboy, Maxim, FHM and Esquire, and in 2004 she was chosen as Playboy’s 50th anniversary lingerie cover model. She also racked up print campaigns for Clairol, Bebe and Frederick’s of Hollywood, bit parts in the film Raise Your Voice and the TV series Las Vegas, and a turn hosting the lifestyle show L.A. Style. A glamorous throwback to old Hollywood, Raquel took her cues from the golden-era starlets, from Marilyn Monroe to Brigitte Bardot, which played perfectly into her graceful, elegant appeal.

Though success came naturally in front of the lens, her true passion revealed itself on set, where she had a habit of directing the very shoots she was starring in. So she switched sides. Regarded as one of Hollywood’s most sought-after sharpshooters, she has shot for Guess and Playboy, seen her photography published in Maxim, FHM and Esquire, and built a signature style that brings the glamour of Hollywood’s golden era roaring back to life.
